Have licenses but no access to service platform

Post by willemgrooters » Wed Jan 24, 2024 2:47 pm

After a long time, I have decided to get VMS on X86 - aside my Alpha and Itanium systems. I followed the link on on the image in the mail but that seems to be dead (404 Page not found). If I access sp.vmssoftware.com directly, I have access but only to do T4 - no packages, although I do have community license.

Code: Select all

What is the "ORGANIZATION NAME" displayed under your name (at the
upper-right corner of the web page)? If it's not "VXC" ("VMS X86
Community") then click on it, and "Switch organization", and select that
one. I find the interface a bit clumsy (not helped by the (dis)order of
the choices in the list), but it works for me.

If it's already "VXC", then you might try e-mail to VSI
   (community@...?).

As stated in the previous reply, check you are in the correct organization, it should be VMS X86 Community (vxc) to be able to download the X86 kits that are available to the Community.

If you do not have access to the x86 Community Organization in the Portal and have already received your community x86 license then you should contact the team at: community@vmssoftware.com

I had a very similar problem to this today. Previously I could see packages, today the list was empty and after that I couldn't even click on Packages. I think the clue might be where you say "after a long time". For me it was probably about a month. I emailed Support, and although I haven't heard back yet, checking a couple of hours later it's fixed for me.

If you are still experiencing issues you should contact community@vmssoftware.com, or, if you have issues with the Portal itself, contact spsupport@vmssoftware.com
