Old and new - hand in hand (system monitoring)

Great tools , both old and new. Running on X86_64 kvm.

I intend to port my updated version of Mosaic 4 ( for alpha) to X86. Is ZIP / UNZIP available for X86?

Screenshot on Mosaic running on Alpha:

SYS$COMMON:[SYSHLP.UNSUPPORTED.UNZIP]

UNZIP == "$ SYS$COMMON:[SYSHLP.UNSUPPORTED.UNZIP]UNZIP.EXE"

How are you configure CDE?
I and other guys have this problem:

From VSI OpenVMS x86-64 E9.2-1 Release Notes Manual
Document Number: DO-RNE921-01A
Publication Date: March 2023
Operating System and Version: VSI OpenVMS x86-64 E9.2-1

VSI provides the Freeware executables for managing ZIP archives on OpenVMS x86-64 systems.
In VSI OpenVMS x86-64 E9.2-1, the installation procedure automatically puts these files in the
following directories on the system disk:"

The mosaic screenshot is from alpha.. I haven't got CDE to work on X86.
I did some changes to Mosaic 4 in order to be able to build it on Alpha
with recent OpenVMS. With a bit of luck it builds out of the box on X86.
I will install C compiler. The problem right now is that I think that the
sources are on alpha .. and that machine is not connected at the
moment. So not doing it today.

I see.. I completely over looked that in manual.
Thanks for pointing it out.

Mosaic built! Unfortunately I haven't found my old sources so , there is no ssl support.
Building with current SSL needs some clever hacking.

Anyway Mosaic 4 on X86 :)

I will try to make a zip.
