Slow GUI on Availability Manager

Post by divit » Wed May 08, 2024 6:37 am

I've installed the lateste Availability Manager package on 8.4
runs fine
using MobaXTerm

Very slow GUI, reaction on mouse and keyboard is slow to none.

Any experiences?

What's the *exact* version of VMS you are running?

HPE's V8.4 was released in 2010; is that the version you're talking about?

"8.4L2" is likely either V8.4-2L1 or V8.4-2L3, both on IA64.
Alpha would be either V8.4-2L1 or V8.4-2L2.

While we're at it, what's the Availability Manager version?

Alpha VMS V8.4-2L2

In a mixed version cluster with 7.3-2

The Availability Manger
VSI AXPVMS AVAIL_MAN_ANA_SRVR V3.2-1
VSI VMS AVAIL_MAN_COL V3.2-1
Is installed on the V8.4-2L2 node
