Some of the open source packages listed on the "products" list show an X86 version, but no download link appears for that one. An example is vGIT.
And it would be wonderful to have a Python. Or even a place to find the VMS port so I can try to build one.

Re: X86 open source kits
I don't think Python is available for x86-64 yet.
VSI does have a public Github repo for Python:
https://github.com/vmssoftware/python_3_8_2
but that is 3.8 not the latest VSI has for Itanium which is 3.10.
Also note that per hearsay then building Python on VMS with all dependencies is a non-trivial task.

Re: X86 open source kits
Thanks. I saw the Python 3.8 repository; it's unfortunate VSI hasn't updated that to reflect the 3.10 work.
Any insight on the other question, the missing X86 kits for things like vGIT for which there is documented to be one?

Several packages including VGIT are in the software portal. If you have a license (CLP or commercial) you should be able to access it.

Re: X86 open source kits
All of the available Open Source kits for x86 are in the Service Portal. As far as I know, they are not avialble yet on the regular Open Source pages. Probably since V/E9.2-1 is still in field test?
