DECset - SCA questions

Post by garyrevell » Tue Dec 08, 2020 9:28 am

Hi,

A couple of questions regarding the use of Source Code Analyzer (SCA):
  • I use putty on my Windows PC to access our OpenVMS systems so can't use the DECWindows interface for SCA, can anyone recommend a good, cheap (free?!) Xwindows client tool that I could use?
  • When using SCA in character cell mode I notice that for one of the Pascal programs we have, if I do a FIND CALLED_BY (INITMYDB,*,depth=all) the listing of functions/procedures comes out in alphabetic order and NOT the order they are called by in the main program, any ideas about how to get around this? I have tried using /DISPLAY=... but to no avail
Thanks in advance.
