DECset / LSE Activation

Post by mlzhh87 » Fri Jul 19, 2019 10:46 am

There seem to be files in the default emulator sys$update location relative to DECset129. Some components appear to be functional, but not all. While CMS and MMS are available, LSE (Language Sensitive Editor) is not activated.

What steps are required to use this feature?

It seems to not have been installed with the rest of DECset, probably because the students should learn to develop software using the VScode-based VMS IDE. You'd need an LSE or DECset kit to install the LSE component.
