OpenVMS V8.4.2-L1 AXP/I64

I notice you are putting 8.4-2L1 to end of life.

Will hobbyists gain access to V8.4-L3 before then?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

The EOL announcement only applies to Integrity, and V8.4-2L3 is available to the community since it was released.

Also, V8.4-2L3 does not exist for Alpha and is not in our current plans, while making V8.4-2L2 for community use makes little sense as stated multiple times because it is only compatible with very few CPUs.

You can have a better view at our current support plans at the bottom of this page: https://vmssoftware.com/about/roadmap/.

Thanks for the explanation, but it would have been clearer if the announcement had said I64, not alpha
