clang inline problem

Hi,
I noticed a problem when using inline and compiling with clang. Consider the following:
$ cxx/vers
VSI C++ V10.1-2
clang version 10.0.1...

VMS x86-64, C++ and SMG$

It seems like SMG$ are very 32 bit pointer oriented.
Which combined with C++ default of 64 bit pointers can give some interesting results.
